Volunteer to help run the Club in 2022
The Elections for next year’s officers including Team Captains along with ordinary management committee members will take place at the AGM which will be held in the club house on Tuesday 7th December 2021 at 7.30pm. The following officer roles are elected annually: Holders of these officers are also management committee members: Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Ladies Captain(s), Men’s Captain(s), Mixed captain(s) plus 4 ordinary management committee members.
The management committee meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at St Georges Hall. The Chair of the management committee is elected by the management committee at its January meeting from amongst the elected committee members along with minute secretary. If you are interested in a role, please do talk to existing committee members about what it entails.
If you wish to stand for election you will need to download a form using the link below, or obtain a hard copy from the club house. You will need to be nominated by 2 full/life or student members. Forms need to be with the club secretary via email firstname.lastname@example.org, or posted in the internal post box at the club by 30th November 2021.
If you do not want to stand for election and sit on the committee or hold an office the club has a number of sub-committees which you can volunteer for without election. These all help shape what the club does and offers and are vital to making the club successful. There is something for every interest please notify the club secretary if you wish to volunteer. These are; Grounds and Fixtures, Development, Social/Fundraising, Media/Social Media and PR, Coaching/Juniors, Club Championships.
